Happy Birthday Denise!

On our way out of Springfield, made a quick stop at Motörhead's...

We made it to Tulsa!  Yesterday was a full day of Route 66 fun and adventure.  We started with breakfast at the Bourbon Cafe and Coffee Saloon...ymmy--bisquits and gravy, quiche, strawberry toast, bagel and coffee!  

Next stop Cuba to take the mural tour, on to Fanning to see the World's Largest Rocking Chair.  While there we met a large group of motorcycle enthusiasts who had come all the way from Europe.  They rented their bikes in Chicago and headed west on Route 66!  

From there the road led us through beautiful green scenery to Devil's Elbow bridge.  Surprise!  We met a group from Wichita, Kansas traveling in a refurbished Ford Model T

Next we needed to charge up the cypehtruck...

Before Tulsa, we made a quick stop in Springfield at a Rt 66 museum then quick snack at a bar across the street.
