It will be seven years this fall since Destiny, Cheryl, and I left Kansas on the Mother Road to Santa Monica, California. We were gone for several weeks, traveling across the southwest, exploring Route 66. Why we began in Galena in southern Kansas, and not in Chicago, where the highway begins, is unknown to all three of us.
So tomorrow, June 24th, we are returning to Route 66, traveling from where the road begins in Chicago to Tulsa. There, we plan to join thousands of other revelers celebrating the highway's 100th anniversary. Join us as we begin this adventure - same highway- different locations, and an added traveler. Cathay
